CTI Infrastructure Q&A Series: Sara Armiger

Armiger 2018-5 1
What is your official title at CTI? I am the Contracts Manager.

Give some background on what responsibilities you have at CTI within the Infrastructure team: I am involved in the proposal process through the closeout of a contract and everything in between! I am the main liaison between CTI, Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer Representatives and handle the day-to-day administration of our contracts.

From your perspective, what is different about CTI that makes it successful? Everyone cares. Everyone wants you to be successful in your personal growth as well as your professional goals. I have previously worked at companies where I was just an employee that filled a seat for them, but that is not the case at CTI. I am happy I found this company a little over a year ago!

How does your role empower CTI’s mission? Contracts are the vehicles that allow us to do the great work we do to support the warfighter. My role is to make sure that we are satisfying all of our contractual requirements so that we can continue to make a difference!

CTI encourages its employees to retain a work-life balance. What are some 'outside of work’ hobbies you enjoy? I have a three year old daughter that keeps me pretty busy! I wish I could say that I like to workout in my spare time, like a lot of my co-workers, but I don’t. I’m more of a sitting on the beach with a beverage kind of girl!
